Instructions

Our reheat instructions are based on a standard home oven, stove and microwave. Cooking times may vary dependent on your equipment. We recommend you use the instructions as a guide only and check the internal temperature before serving. The best way to do this is to use a probe. Internal temperature must be above 75℃. If you do not have a probe, insert a knife into the centre of the product and ensure it is piping hot. You will get the best result if you defrost the meal prior to reheating. The safest way to do this is to defrost your meal in its sealed tray or pouch in your fridge for 12 to 24 hours.

Cooking Time:
7 to 25 minutes
For the Broth, Reheat in Hot Water:
1. For optimum results, place vacuum pouch into a suitable sized pot of hot water once simmering.
2. If defrosted, simmer for 7 – 10 minutes.
3. If frozen, simmer for 12 - 15 minutes.
4. Carefully remove pouch from boiling water as it will be hot.
5. Serve and enjoy!
Reheat in Microwave:
1. Place vacuum pouch into a microwave safe container and carefully pierce a hole in 1 corner.
2. If defrosted, microwave for 8 - 10 minutes (the pouch may expand during reheating, this is normal).
3. If frozen, microwave for 12 - 15 minutes (the pouch may expand during reheating, this is normal).
4. Carefully remove pouch from microwave as the pouch will be quite hot.
5. Serve and enjoy!
Reheat on the Stove (Only from defrosted):
1. Cut open the vacuum sealed pouch of broth and pour into a suitable sized pot.
2. Bring to the boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 1 - 2 minutes.
3. Carefully remove pouch from boiling water as it will be hot.
4. Serve and enjoy!
For the Ramen Noodles, Reheat in Hot Water:
1. Bring a large pot of water to the boil and add a little salt to the water (large pinch).
2. Once boiled, reduce the heat and simmer. Add the noodles.
3. Boil for 3 - 4 minutes until they are just cooked. They will continue to cook slightly in the broth.
For the Char Sui Pork, Reheat in Microwave:
1. Place vacuum pouch into a microwave safe container and carefully pierce a hole in 1 corner.
2. If defrosted, microwave for 1 minute.
3. If frozen, microwave for 2 – 3 minutes.
4. Carefully remove pouch from microwave as the pouch will be quite hot.
5. Serve and enjoy!
Assembly:
1. Place half the noodles in a deep bowl.
2. Place 2 slices of the pork on top of the noodles at a slight angle.
3. Pour over the hot liquid broth.
4. Add the Kikurage (defrosted).
5. Add any condiments you may require.
6. Serve and enjoy!
